A couple who attended ABC4D clinic in Ayr claim sonographer may have saved their baby. During a 4D scan at ABC4D in Ayr, sonogrpaher Karen Connolly spotted a reduced blood supply to the cord in the womb and advised mum Alison to get a check up. This resulted in an emergency C section being carried out. If the baby had remained in the womb for another 48 hours both mother and baby could have died. ABC4D Medical Director Dr Ferguson said "ABC4D carry out a basic health check at every baby scan including 4D imaging, this sets us apart from other private clinics in Scotland. I am delighted that our sonographer Karen was able to identify the issue which resulted in Alison and Millie receiving the urgent medical care they needed."
